1. Training Course on Laboratory Animal Management
I participated in a three-hour seminar focused on the legislative and practical aspects of laboratory animal management. The course was part of the Information and Training Program of the Experimental Biomedicine Center (CBS) at the CNR Research Area in Pisa.

2. Training Course on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (June 16, 2021)
I attended a three-hour seminar on the ISO 9001:2015 standard and the Quality Management System implemented at CBS. This training was also organized by the Experimental Biomedicine Center (CBS) at the CNR Research Area in Pisa.

3. Specific Training Course for Workers – Medium Risk Sector
I completed and passed the final assessment of an 8-hour specific safety training course for workers, in compliance with Italian legislation (D. Lgs. 81/2008, D. Lgs. 106/2009, and the State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/2011). The course covered workplace safety topics such as organizational risks, workplace environment, microclimate and lighting, screen and device usage, slips and falls, signage, work-related stress, commuting accidents, fire and emergency management, biological, chemical, electrical, noise and vibration risks, manual handling, first aid basics, near misses, and PPE selection and regulations. The training was organized and certified by PRIMA Training & Consulting srl.

4. General Safety Training Course
I completed a 4-hour General Safety Training course in e-Learning mode, organized by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa), in accordance with Italian legislative decree D. Lgs. 81/2008 and the State-Regions Agreement of December 21, 2011. The course covered core concepts such as risk, harm, prevention, protection, workplace safety organization, rights and responsibilities of workers, and the roles of regulatory and supervisory bodies. He successfully passed the final learning assessment.

5. Industry 4.0 Learning Path – University of Pisa
I successfully completed the Industry 4.0 Learning Path as part of the Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pisa. The program included the following 6-ECTS courses: Biomedical Technologies Laboratory, Computer-Assisted Surgery, and Embedded Systems for Biomedical Applications. The learning path focused on advanced technologies relevant to Industry 4.0 in the biomedical field.

6. Networking and Communication Technologies Course
I completed a course covering the fundamentals of communication and networking technologies. Topics included communication theory (message, symbol, transmission channel), network topologies (star, bus, ring), circuit and packet switching, Ethernet architecture and CSMA/CD protocol, the Internet's structure and history, the ISO/OSI layered model, MAC and IP addressing (IPv4 and basic IPv6), key networking devices (Repeater, Hub, Bridge, Switch, Router), core protocols (TCP/IP, NAT, PAT, ICMP, ARP, DHCP), static and dynamic routing (RIP), diagnostic tools in Windows (ping, ipconfig, route, tracert), and an overview of home network configurations (wired, wireless, hybrid).

7. A1/A3 Drone Pilot Certificate – Online Training and Exam
Marco Marchese obtained the A1/A3 Remote Pilot Certificate for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) after successfully completing an official training course and passing the final exam. This certification, in accordance with European regulations (EU Regulation 2019/947), qualifies him to operate drones in open category scenarios (A1 and A3 subcategories), ensuring awareness of safety, airspace regulations, and responsible flight conduct.

8. Job Interview Certification
In an increasingly dynamic and fast-paced job market, approaching companies, organizations, and institutions has become even more challenging. The workshop provided a concrete methodology for successfully handling job interviews, responding effectively, and overcoming moments of uncertainty. I also took part in individual and group interview simulations.

9. Affera™ & Sphere-9™ Certification – Medtronic
Completed on June 1, 2025
I successfully completed a structured training program focused on Medtronic’s advanced cardiac ablation and mapping technologies. The course included the following three modules:

Module 1 – Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System Technology Overview: Introduction to the Affera™ system, which combines high-resolution mapping and pulsed field radiofrequency ablation for efficient treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

Module 2 – Affera™ Prism-1 Software Overview: Comprehensive overview of the Prism-1 software interface, designed for real-time navigation and interpretation of electrophysiological signals.

Module 3 – Ablation Therapy with the Sphere-9™ Catheter: In-depth training on the use of the Sphere-9™ catheter, an integrated device for mapping and ablation that enhances procedural efficiency and therapeutic precision.

10. Workshop Participation – "Standardization o by-design: What Perspectives for HTA?"
On June 13, 2025, I attended the workshop "Standardization o by-design: what perspectives for HTA?" held at the School of Engineering, University of Pisa. The event explored strategic approaches to standardization in the context of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), focusing on innovation governance, regulatory alignment, and the integration of by-design methodologies. The workshop was organized in collaboration with CIRHTA and the ManSan Master Program.
